Nominations for the 2017 Spirit of Entrepreneurship™ Awards are NOW CLOSED

The nominations are open to any woman entrepreneur in Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties, and this year there are 11 categories.

You may nominate yourself or someone else and select multiple categories if you are unsure which one you belong in. Once the nomination is processed, the nominee will be sent a full application form to fill out. If you are nominating someone, she will not be told who has nominated her. The nomination form will be considered confidential.

*To qualify a woman must own 51% of the business. Since there is only one award in each category, if a business has multiple women owners, the Spirit of Entrepreneur Foundation recommends that the most active owner be nominated.
