After seeing her son had learned his ABCs by watching cartoons on television, Rashi found herself wishing he could learn her native tongue that easily. And, that is how Shoonya was started; out of Rashi’s pain-point of wanting her children to learn, Hindi, so that they could communicate with their grandparents authentically.
